Hi, I'm Hayley — the H behind Belle Vie.
Belle Vie began during a time of huge change in my life. After losing my mum, and with my family life shifting as my children grew up and started their own adventures, I found myself needing something positive that was just mine. I started making soap, fell completely in love with the whole process, and one idea very quickly led to another.
What started at my kitchen table has grown into soaps, candles, gel melts, aroma stones, worry stones and handmade gifts — all made here in Derbyshire, in small batches, with plenty of care and probably far too many ideas. I love experimenting with ingredients, fragrances, colours and designs, but most of all I love the thought of somebody choosing something I've made and enjoying it in their own home.
There's a little bit of my story in the name too. Belle Vie means 'beautiful life' in French, and after everything the last year has taught me, it felt just right. My mum is a big part of the heart behind this brand, and the words 'a brighter tomorrow' mean an awful lot to me.
Belle Vie by H is more than a business to me. It's a new chapter, and I'm very excited to see where it takes me.

Small-batch, always
Every product is made in small batches so I can give each one proper attention. You'll never find a Belle Vie product that was rushed.
Natural ingredients
I use quality natural oils, waxes and botanicals wherever possible. What goes on your skin — and into your home — matters.
Honest and handmade
Handmade things are imperfect by nature. I think that's part of their beauty. No two bars of soap are identical, and that's exactly how it should be.
Made with intention
Every fragrance, every product, every collection is chosen with care. Nothing is here by accident.
And then there's the dog.
He has strong opinions about which fragrances are acceptable, an unwavering belief that every customer deserves a product made with love, and a habit of appearing wherever he's least expected.
He is, in many ways, the heart of Belle Vie by H.
